The Air Force Academy Chapel is located in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The distinctive architecture makes the chapel one of the most unique churches in the world. It has sixteen steeples. One story says that the steeples represent the 12 Apostles and the 4 Chiefs of Staff. Inside the building are 3 separate chapels that represent Protestant, Catholic, and Jewish faiths.
The Gateway Arch is located on the banks of the Mississippi River in the city of St. Louis. Below the arch is the Lewis and Clark museum, which commemorates the expeditions of Lewis and Clark as they explored the Missouri river and the Pacific Northwest.
